Cathedral, a cybersecurity startup founded by former DOGE staffers, found AI agents could access Anthropic's business systems through third-party administrative software in under 12 hours during a bug bounty test. The agents accessed meeting transcripts, salary details, and Slack messages about Anthropic's models, but not customer conversations, source code, or model weights. Anthropic says it detected and shut off Cathedral's access the same day; a Trump administration official expressed national security concerns about the vulnerability.
