AP CID cracks Rs 15 crore international crypto investment fraud, court orders return of assets to victim

Andhra Pradesh CID cracked a Rs 15 crore cryptocurrency investment fraud involving an organized international network that lured a woman from Tenali into fraudulent crypto platforms. Eight accused were identified across Hyderabad, Maharashtra, Malaysia, China, and Portugal; money was diverted through multiple overseas crypto exchange accounts. A court issued a Return of Property Order directing the return of identified cryptocurrency assets worth Rs 15 crore to the victim.
