Binance and Deribit Sever SignalPlus API Connections After Social Engineering Compromise of Engineer's Device

Binance and Deribit revoked all customer API keys linked to SignalPlus on November 5, 2026, as a precaution; both said their own systems and customer funds were unaffected. SignalPlus detected a cyberattack on November 4 that began with a fraudulent Microsoft Teams invitation sent to an engineer via a compromised vendor Telegram account, and it estimates total losses under $82,000.
