Binance CFO is leaving to 'pursue a new venture' after $6.3 billion hack
Binance CFO Kaiser Ng is leaving the exchange to pursue a new venture, per a statement from co-CEO Yi He. The departure comes just over a week after hackers stole $6.3 billion in cryptocurrency from Binance users; withdrawals were frozen for several days and users withdrew a net $3.6 billion in the first few hours after unfreezing. Binance and the FBI blamed the North Korean group TraderTraitor, and Binance said it will cover all losses. Justin Yek will replace Ng as CFO.
