Binance CFO Kaiser Ng steps down following record crypto theft

Binance CFO Kaiser Ng is leaving to pursue a new venture after more than five years at the company, with a transition plan implemented over the last half year. Justin Yek, most recently vice-president of finance at Airwallex, is taking over as CFO. The departure comes days after hackers stole US$6.3 billion from Binance in a record heist that began on Oct 29 via malware and fake job recruitment targeting engineers; Binance says it will fully reimburse affected customers.
