Binance files for Brazil crypto license ahead of Friday deadline

Binance filed for a cryptocurrency service provider license in Brazil on Oct. 23, ahead of the Oct. 30 regulatory deadline, through its local entity BBrasil. The exchange is restricting crypto lending, margin trading, and delisting 22 crypto assets for Brazilian users effective Tuesday to comply with current regulations. Brazil requires existing crypto service providers to submit authorization applications by Oct. 30 to continue operating; filing does not guarantee approval.
