Binance outflows hit $4.7 billion after record North Korea hack

Binance suffered a $6.4 billion cyber theft attributed by the FBI to North Korean hackers, the largest crypto exchange hack in history. Net withdrawals from Binance reached $4.7 billion by Monday after the exchange froze and then restored withdrawals on Sunday. Binance recovered nearly half the stolen funds through industry partnerships and patched about 95% of the exploit, vowing to cover all losses.
