Binance replenishes 90% of assets stolen in record $6.3-billion hack: Statement

Binance reported a $6.3 billion hack and said it has covered 90% of stolen assets using $6.34 billion in company funds. The remaining 10% consists of less liquid tokens that will take longer to source. Co-CEO Richard Teng described the breach as a complex attack involving a compromised laptop and malicious software; Binance plans to resume withdrawals on November 1.
