Binance says billions replaced from hack that FBI blames on North Korea

Binance says it has replaced 90% of the $6.3 billion stolen in a hack, using company funds to buy new tokens, with the remaining 10% consisting of less liquid assets. The FBI attributed the attack to North Korean state-sponsored unit TraderTraitor, which converted stolen assets into ethereum. Binance set aside $6.34 billion from its SAFU reserve, Futures Insurance Fund, and corporate treasury to cover losses, and plans to reopen withdrawals on Sunday.
