Binance says it has $6.34 billion ready to cover hack losses

Binance suffered a $6.3 billion security breach on Thursday from a compromised DevOps laptop and allocated $6.34 billion in company funds to cover losses. The exchange holds $5 billion in affected tokens and is purchasing the remaining $1.3 billion through market and OTC channels. Industry partners including Tether, Circle, and Ripple have frozen approximately $3 billion in associated assets.
