Binance says it has covered 90% of $6.3b crypto theft

Binance has covered 90% of the $6.3 billion in stolen cryptocurrency, up from 80% previously, and plans to restore withdrawals by November 1. The exchange said it would absorb the full financial impact using its own funds, emergency funds, and insurance to replace stolen assets including bitcoin, zcash, USDT, and USDC. Experts called it the largest crypto hack on record; some remaining stolen tokens are less liquid and harder to replace.
