Blockchain Capital leads $40m round in HK fintech PhotonPay

PhotonPay, a Hong Kong fintech focused on cross-border payments and stablecoins, raised $40 million in Series C led by Blockchain Capital with participation from SBI Group, IDG Capital, GL Ventures, and Lightspeed Faction. The company reported $65 billion annualized transaction volume as of August 2026 and holds 34 payment and financial licenses. Funds will support multi-asset wallets, global card issuing, and local clearing for its stablecoin-centric platform serving businesses.
