Chainalysis says breach exposed password hashes and live tokens

Chainalysis said on Wednesday that a cyberattack exposed more customer data than it first reported. The company said names, usernames, password hashes and live tokens for all Chainalysis users were exposed, though it did not say whether every type was exposed for every user. Chainalysis also said an on-path attack exposed some customers' passwords, that it has contained that attack vector, and that it is locking affected accounts and requiring password resets, while still finding no evidence that investigation or attribution data was accessed or manipulated.
