Circle's ARC token sale lifts earnings as lower yields weigh on USDC income

Circle reported Q3 diluted EPS of $0.84, up from $0.64 a year earlier, with total revenue rising 17% to $865 million, boosted by $182 million from ARC token presale. USDC reserve income declined 8% to $657.6 million as yields fell 61 basis points to 3.5%, despite 8% growth in average circulation, as interest rates remained lower year-over-year. Excluding ARC presale revenue, total revenue would have fallen roughly 8% year-over-year; Circle is reducing workforce by approximately 5% and expects material payments-network revenue in 2027.
