Coinbase adds Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin across retail, exchange and Prime platforms

Coinbase now supports Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin across its retail app, Exchange, and Prime platforms with 1:1 USD conversion on XRP Ledger, Ethereum, and Base. Ripple received OCC approval this week to launch a national trust bank and bring RLUSD under federal oversight, and expanded partnerships with BNY, C2FO, and Robinhood. RLUSD has surpassed $2.6 billion in market capitalization since launching in December 2024, and Moody's assigned it A2 long-term and P-1 short-term deposit ratings.
