A 45-year-old land broker from Ahmedabad lost Rs 90.2 lakh in a cryptocurrency investment scam involving a fake platform called Trust Coin. A woman named Madhuri Mehta befriended the victim on Facebook and introduced him to an accomplice named Charlie who operated a fraudulent trading website. The scammers showed fake profits of Rs 1 crore, then demanded additional payments totaling Rs 90.2 lakh for withdrawals, wallet changes, and account recovery before disappearing.
