Cult.fit builds operational muscle with Codex

Cult.fit operates 708 fitness centers across 77 cities and serves nearly one million paid members, alongside a growing consumer products portfolio. The company standardized its software engineering on Codex, then extended it to data analysis and internal tools, with over 20 internal applications built by non-engineering teams. Cult.fit's CTO says the company wants to become AI-native in how it runs operations, and uses the OpenAI API for member experiences such as its AI Trainer.
