Discord is making public chats searchable on Google: How to opt out

Discord is making public server conversations searchable on Google starting November 16, with individual messages appearing in search results from mid-December. The change applies to Discoverable Servers with 1,000+ members; users can opt out through settings until mid-December, with the feature disabled by default in certain regions and for teens. The move has drawn mixed reactions - some users concerned about privacy, others welcoming easier access to information previously locked in Discord conversations.
