Dubai Police arrest six over Dh2.6 million cryptocurrency fraud

Dubai Police arrested six people accused of defrauding someone of Dh2.6 million ($707,964) through an unlicensed cryptocurrency exchange. The suspects took Dh2 million in cash and Dh600,000 in virtual assets after convincing the victim to enter a trading deal. Police traced and recovered all stolen virtual assets despite the complexity of tracking funds across digital wallets.
