FBI says North Korea was behind $6.3 billion Binance heist, the biggest crypto hack in history

FBI attributed a $6.3 billion theft from Binance to North Korean hackers known as TraderTraitor, the same group behind a $1.5 billion Bybit hack last year. The stolen assets are being converted primarily into ethereum, with FBI warning exchanges and blockchain firms to block related transactions. Binance said it has sufficient reserves to cover 90% of missing assets and promised full customer reimbursement.
