Gnosis Pay breach exposes card details, personal data and crypto wallet information

Gnosis Pay, a crypto-linked Visa debit card provider, disclosed a breach of its legacy consumer card system after detecting unauthorized access on Nov. 3. Exposed data reportedly includes full card numbers, expiration dates, CVV codes, names, home addresses, wallet addresses, emails, phone numbers and in some cases IBAN/BIC banking details. The company says customer funds and its enterprise platform were unaffected, and it made 3D Secure mandatory for online payments until the legacy system retires on Dec. 20.
