Gnosis Pay data breach exposes customer info; funds unaffected

Gnosis Pay disclosed a data breach of its legacy system powering Gnosis Pay-branded debit cards, after unauthorized access was detected on Nov. 3. The company said it contained the incident within two hours, replaced compromised credentials, and that customer funds and its enterprise card platform were not affected. 3D Secure verification is now mandatory for online card payments until the affected system is retired on Dec. 20.
