How BidBlock Improves Block Production on BSC
BEP-675 introduces BidBlock, a protocol change for BSC that moves validator re-execution of transactions to after block broadcast, eliminating duplicate execution work before sealing. Validators check deterministic header fields before sealing, then re-execute blocks after broadcast; builders retain SendBid as a fallback if BidBlock validation fails. reth-bsc v0.1.3 adds transport and reliability improvements; the change requires no hard fork and accompanies the Jenner upgrade.
