HYPE teases all-time high as NYSE owner ICE eyes US Hyperliquid perps

Hyperliquid's HYPE token surged 20% after NYSE owner ICE announced plans for US perpetual futures with Trade[XYZ], backed by investor Stanley Druckenmiller. HYPE traded above $96, approaching September's all-time high of $97.96, as the proposal would give US retail traders regulated access to Hyperliquid-based perpetual futures. ICE is taking a minority stake in Trade[XYZ] and seeking regulatory approval for markets covering cryptocurrencies, stocks, indexes, commodities and currencies, with distribution expected through ICE's OKX joint venture.
