Introducing Stellar Project Thruput: blockchain compute, unrationed

Stellar Development Foundation announced Project Thruput, a new blockchain execution model that allows transactions to run in parallel even when accessing the same data, removing traditional ordering bottlenecks. Early benchmarks show execution capacity increased nearly 6x from 1.18 million to 7.02 million payments per second when scaling from one to eight machines on a single validator. Project Thruput is live on FutureNet with open-source code and reproducible benchmarks; it enables developers to build applications without splitting state across shards.
