Intuition Thesis You have too many options. More shows, books, albums, and podcasts than you could get through in a lifetime. Yet finding something you really want is still arduous. You scroll for twenty minutes and somehow end up no closer to finding it. There’s no shortage of things to choose from. The hard part is discovering something good. Many of the best things find their way to you through other people. A friend tells you about a show. Someone hands you a book. A creator you follow keeps bringing up a podcast. Some people are deeply passionate about certain things, and they always seem to have something good to share. Over time, you start to build your own circle around them. Not necessarily a circle of people you know personally, but people you’ve learned to trust, and what to trust them for. Nobody designed any of this. It happens naturally, every day. But things get lost along the way. The recommendations scatter. Even for just one thing, some are sitting in your DMs, some are in your bookmarks, and some you loved are nowhere but in your head. There is no one place for all of it. The best things in your life came to you through people, but who told you about what, what your friends are into, what you've liked is all scattered the same way, with nowhere to come together. Plenty of approaches have been taken to solve this, and many of them are doing it really well. But sooner or later, they all run into the same walls. You can't tell who's real unless you actually know them. Feeds are full of bots, fake accounts, and posts someone paid for, so a recommendation from a stranger means close to nothing. What you say about yourself doesn't travel. Your taste, the people you trust, all of it stays inside whichever app you built it in. Open a new one and none of it comes with you. Your circle is fragmented. Your friends are on one app, the people you follow for music are on another, the ones you trust about books somewhere else. There’s no single place where all these people, their recommendations, and the things you’re into come together, where you can go from a book to a movie to an album with the same people around you. Comparing notes with friends is time-consuming. If you want to know what they thought of a specific thing, you’d have to ask them one at a time. And even in the places where you’d ask, those moments evaporate within days or weeks. It’s not that there’s nothing good out there. It’s that the people you’d like to hear from aren’t in the same room. We wanted to fix all of that for ourselves. And we did! Welcome to the Intuition App. Where Intuition Came From We didn’t start with the app. We started with a question: How could information move from person to person online, the way it does in real life, without a company in the middle deciding who sees what? We’ve already seen how these principles can transform finance. The natural next step was to apply them to one of our most valuable assets, if not the most valuable: information. You can’t do that with an app. Two things had to exist first. The first was a single decentralized identifier (DID) for everything. Not just for people, but for every book, movie, song, place, and idea. Think of a passport: one number that’s yours no matter which country you walk into. Online, you have a different account on every site, and a book is a different listing in every store. We wanted one DID that nobody owns and every app can recognize. The second was a simple way to structure what people say about those things. Every claim gets the same shape: someone says something about something. That one shape can say almost anything, and because every claim has the same structure, anyone can read it and all of it connects. And since the claims are made of DIDs, what anyone says about anything travels with it wherever it goes. Those two things, one DID for everything and one structure for every claim, are the core primitives of the Intuition Protocol. After years of iteration and defining the most scalable approaches, we launched our protocol in November 2025. We had one shot, and we had no plans to miss. Now we had everything we needed. So we came to the question: what to do with these? In crypto, more and more of the attention is going to the apps, not to the foundations underneath them, and that trend is only accelerating. @Polymarket gets all the attention: the protocol it relies, UMA, most people have never heard of. @HyperliquidX built its own blockchain, and what everyone actually knows is the Perp DEX on top. For a long time we believed the value would mostly end up in the foundations, and for a few chosen ones, it likely will. But the pattern keeps repeating: people care about the thing they actually use. People want better experiences, and there is no reason that is not going to be the major driver of revenue for a very long time ahead. We know our own protocol inside and out, because we built it for exactly what we wanted to exist, and we know what it can be used for. We didn't want to leave it to someone else to show what it could do. So the first app had to come from us. And we all wanted the product anyway, so it was the obvious next step to build it ourselves. Ten months after the protocol, in late September 2026, our Flagship Consumer App went live. The Flagship Experience Our Consumer App is a bastion of safety in a world of bots and fake accounts. It's invite-only. Everyone in it was brought in by someone who trusts them, every account traces back to a real person inside. No ads. No noise. You come in and express who you are: the books, movies, music, podcasts, restaurants, and places you love, and what you think of them, with more categories coming along the way. It's all in one place, it's yours, and everything you add builds into a picture of your taste over time, instead of disappearing into the void. Then there’s your Circle, the people you trust for different things. You see what they’re saying, with their Perspective on everything, so you always know who’s talking. The discovery is simple. You say what you like, and you find new things through the people around you. If someone's taste is close to yours, you can take their whole Stack as a starting point and make it your own along the way. It's a social experience, built to be fun and rewarding. Figuring out what you're into becomes something you do together with the people you trust. Everything you express in the App, what you love, who you trust, what you think, isn’t just saved in our database. In the background, we’re using the core primitives of the Intuition Protocol. That’s your context: a record of your taste, and who you trust. It’s yours. You can use it through the App, or you can give it to your AI so it knows what you like the way your good friends do. We just provide the interface to “build your Intuition” in the most compelling way. That’s the whole idea: real people, a circle you trust, and a place where what you like compounds. So the next time you want something good, you know exactly where to go. The Demand Is Already There The market is more than ready for this. We’re not the only ones who wanted this. Look at any timeline and you will see people doing it manually. Demand rarely announces itself. It shows up indirectly: people using whatever tool they have for something it was never built for. That’s what’s happening around taste on every timeline and every app right now. People who want to share what they love might write an article or post a list somewhere. Others might not share it at all, simply because there’s no place for it. People who want something ask questions out loud, aimed at whoever happens to be around. The oldest way of discovering information, but running on tech that doesn’t scale for the optimal user experience. This is not built to last. It only works if you have reach. If the right person sees it. And all of it is buried within days anyway, even with millions of followers. The timeline moves on and nothing underneath it remembers. This is real demand. Not a trend we’re predicting, but behavior that’s already everywhere, held together by temporary solutions. We expect demand to increase exponentially. Good stuff has no expiry date. Meanwhile, the amount of information keeps growing, so finding the good stuff gets harder every year, and it’s already hard. That’s exactly what we have solved with the Flagship Consumer App. Infinite Game This is only the beginning. Almost a year on from launching the protocol, we’re moving faster than ever. For the first time, we have the protocol and an App built on top of it. That gives us a very different playground, not only for us but for anyone. Everything that happens in the Flagship App happens on the Intuition Protocol, an open knowledge graph underneath it. Other people can build completely different apps on the same information, and whoever wants to build on it doesn’t have to start from zero every time. Any developer can now start from what already exists, instead of from zero. We hope someone builds something we never would have thought of ourselves. Our goal is not having every experience happen inside our App. It’s seeing how far the information can travel once people start creating it. We’ve started with our first Consumer App, built around the things people love. Years from now, the same foundation could sit underneath apps we never expected. That’s the experiment. Not simply whether we can make a good Consumer App, but what becomes possible when every contribution makes the next experience richer. An Open Invitation We believe something powerful happens when these pieces come together: people have a place to share what they know, that knowledge outlives the place it was shared, and anyone can build something better on top of it. The Intuition App is how we’ve started proving that in the open market. Everything live today is a starting point. When we do our jobs properly, the version of the App you’ll be using a year from now will make today’s feel ancient, and most of what changes will come from the people using it. The App is invite-only, and it will stay that way for a long while. We started with our closest friends, who can invite people they trust. Referrals are already here, and trust us, you’ll want to choose carefully who gets yours. There’s no rush. There’s no money to be made in the App right now, and that’s on purpose. It’s for people who want to use this as much as we do. The waitlist is open at app.intuition.systems. When it’s your turn, we’ll be ready for you. And if you want a chance to get in early: Quote Tweet this article with your own thoughts. We’d love to hear from every one of you, and we promise to read every single one. The best ones might get an invite to the party before anyone else. This is an open invitation to everyone with the courage to believe things can be different, and to build that future with us. We built the part nobody would ever see. Now we’re building the part everyone will use, and we’re excited to have you with us as we do. Special shout-out to @binji_x, @benroy, @Kpaxs, @notthreadguy, @blknoiz06, and @LumeBTC for proving the thesis before we had anything to show the world. Onwards and upwards.
