Majority of Americans want candidates who support US-based financial technology: Poll

Poll of 1,545 people shows 72% of Americans think it's important for politicians to support US-based financial technology policies. Only 9% of respondents were familiar with crypto and 5% with stablecoins, with 87% holding no digital assets in the past year. Crypto PACs have spent tens of millions to influence voters ahead of 2026 midterm elections where crypto policies may be a factor.
