Circle's CCTP (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol) now supports interoperability for non-USDC ERC-20 tokens through burn-and-mint mechanics across chains. Developers can deploy native CrossChainToken through the service or configure existing ERC-20s as custom CCTP connections, with both paths using Circle's message and attestation infrastructure.
