NEAR token sinks 7% as proposal to cut annual token issuance passes

NEAR token fell 7% on Tuesday despite community approval of proposal HSP-029 to reduce annual token issuance from 2.5% to 1.6% over 24 months. The proposal received 99.9% support from 3.28 million veNEAR tokens cast, and would reduce token dilution while lowering staking yields from 5.2% to 3.3%.
