New York-based miner sells $192M Bitcoin for AI
Keel Infrastructure, formerly Bitfarms, sold 2,520 bitcoin for $192 million in Q3, including its entire 2,261-coin treasury and 259 newly mined coins. Keel is shifting from bitcoin mining to developing AI data centers; it expects first high-performance computing revenue in 2027 at Moses Lake, Washington. Q3 revenue from continuing operations fell 59% to $27.6 million from $68 million a year earlier, mainly due to shutting U.S. mining operations and a lower bitcoin price.
