Nubank, Mercado Pago halt crypto transfers after external provider disruption

Nubank said it has halted cryptocurrency withdrawals and deposits due to instability from an external data provider. Mercado Pago, MercadoLibre's fintech arm, blocked some transfers to external wallets and warned deposits could face delays, citing an incident at a risk monitoring and anti-money laundering service provider. Both companies said client funds remain secure and other crypto products continue to operate as usual; neither named the provider involved.
