Ondo joins DTCC's push to bring tokenized stocks into the mainstream

DTCC's subsidiary DTC launched the DTCC Tokenization Service (DTS), which links tokenized securities on blockchain to DTC's existing market infrastructure. Ondo Finance is a key ecosystem collaborator in the rollout, having joined DTC's working group in May and previously issued tokenized stocks backed by DTC entitlements. Tokenized versions maintain the same ownership rights and legal protections as traditional securities, addressing a major question about whether tokens carry the legal weight of underlying assets.
