Over Sleepless Nights, Binance War Room Fought to Contain Hack

Binance suffered a major hack on Thursday that drained over $6 billion from wallets across multiple blockchains, described as the largest crypto hack in history. Binance co-founder Yi He and approximately 100 employees formed a war room to contain the breach, coordinating with other crypto firms, Tether, Circle, and law enforcement agencies including the FBI and Secret Service. Circle and Tether froze over $800 million in stablecoin transactions within minutes of the attack being detected, while Binance publicly stated it could easily reimburse losses.
