Solana to host Akash's decentralized compute network

Akash, a decentralized compute platform, will migrate its blockchain infrastructure to Solana over 24 months following 97% community approval via token holder voting. Akash Marketplace, AkashML, and Akash Homenode will become native to Solana, replacing Akash's Cosmos-based chain. AKT token holders can swap their tokens for SPL AKT at a 1:1 ratio; Akash cited low transaction costs, liquidity, and Solana's large user base as migration reasons.
