Blockchain investigator ZachXBT raised his estimate of a suspected crypto theft from an unidentified EU entity to $133 million, up from $106 million initially reported. ZachXBT theorizes a large Western European financial institution was exploited and the incident is being covered up, with over $30 million already laundered due to lack of proper disclosure. Bitquery data shows $62.98 million in stablecoins converted to 27,553 ETH in four hours, with approximately $78.3 million remaining in suspected attacker wallets and $30.5 million already moved out.
