THORChain restored cross-chain swapping on 11 networks including Bitcoin and Ethereum after a multi-day suspension that began October 31, following deployment of software version 3.21.1. RUNE token rose 15% to near $0.64 as swaps resumed; three networks (Cosmos Hub, BNB Smart Chain, Solana) remain restricted pending full validator node updates. The suspension was triggered by an Ethereum single-block reorganization that caused a 10 ETH discrepancy in THORChain's vault; the affected party later returned the funds.
