Uber completed a pilot with HSBC, Franklin Templeton, Tradeweb, and Fireblocks demonstrating a 24/7 on-chain liquidity and settlement solution on the Canton Network. The solution allows corporate treasurers to keep cash invested in tokenized money market funds while accessing funds for payments outside traditional market hours, addressing the tradeoff between yield optimization and operational liquidity. The pilot showed potential to improve working capital yield by reducing idle cash buffers while maintaining continuous access to investment and settlement capabilities.
