Wall Street's Transfer Agent Rules Need an Onchain Upgrade

Ondo Finance submitted a letter to the SEC on proposed transfer agent rules that govern firms maintaining shareholder records. The letter requests three things: more direct routes for tokenized securities to reach transfer agents, matching information requirements to transaction types to reduce duplication, and support for public blockchains without requiring transfer agents to control entire networks.
